ABOUT ME
I am Pola Skałbania.
A passionate voice artist, vocalist and musician with a diverse background and a deep love for creative expression. After years of experience in theater and music, I started an exciting adventure across Europe to pursue my love for voice acting, sound, music and storytelling. My path took me to Hungary to study vocal arts in Budapest and later to Poland, where I graduated from the Jazz and Contemporary Vocal Department at the Music Academy in Katowice in 2020.
I am a native speaker of Polish and German as well as fluent in English and Hungarian. This allows me to connect with a broad audience and express eloquence and nuances in any language mentioned. In recent years, I have recorded language learning materials, interactive museum tours and voiceovers for exhibitions - combining utility and artistry in my work.
I have dedicated myself to combine my passions for voice acting, soundscapes, music, video games and movies into experiences in the form of meaningful projects which inspire.

MY STORY
My journey begins in Germany, where I grew up and finished high school in Hannover. As a Polish, born in Germany, I have embraced the multilingual culture and experience early on, which always felt natural to me. From a young age I was captivated by the power of voice, music and storytelling, which led me to explore new horizons and express myself through art.
My passion for vocals and performance brought me to Hungary, where I studied vocal arts in Budapest and Vác. Later in Poland, I pursued jazz and contemporary vocals at the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice, graduating in 2020. Along the way I have nurtured a deep connection to music through bass, piano, guitar and drums.
Outside the art, I collected experience as a Business Manager and Product Manager, working with multinational companies in a four-cross language environment. This experience broadened my perspective and enhanced my ability to connect and cooperate with diverse teams and audiences.
As my heart remained on the artistic side, my love for music, sound, video games, and movies naturally merged into a voice artist career.
In 2024, I founded POLAPHONIC.
As a voice artist, I strive to bring stories to life with expression, flexibility, and authenticity. My journey has taught me that art and practicality aren’t mutually exclusive — they complement each other.
Through POLAPHONIC, I am looking forward to extending new creative possibilities and sharing my voice with the world.
